Former police sergeant Jon Schorsch applies his legal and management expertise at the King County Department of Public Defense. A member of the National Federation of the Blind, Jon Schorsch also serves on the board of directors for Sight Connection. Founded in 1965 as Community Services for the Blind, Sight Connection provides services that help people affected by blindness to live active and independent lives. The organization operates as a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization, and received finding through both public and private sources.
